Add Equipment Rooms

To create an equipment room, in the Equipment View, right-click on an area node, and then select the Add Equipment Room.

The Equipment Room Information window opens.

Enter the details of the room.

Selecting the button next to the Status field opens a window where you can edit the Status pick list.

If the building is to be shared with AVEVA Electrical, select Share the Room with Electrical.

Notes: The checkbox is unavailable if sharing with AVEVA Electrical is disabled for the project. Sharing with AVEVA Electrical may be enabled during project setup, or afterwards using the Project tab > Edit Project option. For further information, refer to the Installation User Guide.

Rooms shared with AVEVA Electrical can be viewed in AVEVA Electrical, but not edited.

Select Save to add it to the Equipment View.
