Delete Loops

To delete a loop

1. Select it from the Loop List and click New in the Records section of the Home tab.

   A message is then displayed asking for the deletion to be confirmed. If Yes is clicked, the Delete Options window is displayed.

   

2. The window provides the option to either unassign instruments from the loop (Unassign Instruments from Loop), or to delete them (Delete Instruments in Loop).

3. If the delete option is selected, a further option to delete the associated instrument wiring is available: Remove any Instrument Wiring.

4. If there is a loop diagram for the loop, it may be deleted by checking the Delete Loop Diagram checkbox.

5. After the required options have been selected, click Delete to proceed with the deletion. To cancel the deletion, click Cancel.
