To populate the Crude List with crudes, you can refine the list of crudes comprising your chosen data set. You can do this using:
-
Complex filters, or
-
Crude Sets
For example, to filter using Crude Sets, you can either:
-
Choose an existing Crude Set: To configure the Crude Selector dialog to choose only crudes from a Crude Set, select the desired Crude Set from Sets.
-
Create a new Crude Set: To create a new Crude Set, press the (
) button adjacent to Crude Sets. This is equivalent to selecting Sets from the Settings
menu For more information on sets, see Assay Sets.
Once you have configured a Crude Set, you need to apply it to bring up a list of all crudes contained in the set. You can either:
-
Add Set: Press the adjacent (
) button to apply your Crude Set. The Crude Set is added to the Applied Filters area
of the Crude Selector dialog, and the Crude List will be dynamically updated to show
only those crudes matching the filters in the Applied Filters list.
-
Replace Filter: Press the adjacent (
) button to replace all applied filters with your Crude Set. Any existing applied
filters are replaced with the Crude Set, and the Crude List is dynamically updated
to show only those crudes matching crudes in the Crude Set.
Once a filter is applied to a Data Set, the Crude List is dynamically filled with those crudes from the chosen Data Set that match the applied filter, plus possibly any filters that may have previously been applied.
