Modify user crudes

A user crude consists of two parts: the generated data itself and additional crude property information. You can modify the crude property information for a user crude from the User Crudes page, which can be accessed by selecting User Crudes from the Data menu.

Modify

The User Crudes page shows a list of all your user crudes. If a crude has been selected for modification, it shows a list of the crude properties of the selected crude as well.

You can select a crude to be modified by using either of the following methods:

• Locate it in the user crudes list, then select the select () icon next to its name.

• Use the simplified crude selector to select a crude to be modified. See Select and group crudes.

The crude properties of your selected crude are displayed in the Edit this crude component.

How to modify properties of a selected crude

You can modify the properties of your selected crude in the Edit this crude component by following these steps.

1. Enter text and select values in the text and dropdown lists.

2. Once your have completed modifications to your crude properties, select Update to apply the changes.

3. To remove a User Crude from the database select Delete.

   Note: The generated values for a user crude cannot be modified once the user crude has been added to the database. If you wish to modify the crude details of a user crude, you must regenerate it using the generation tools.
