Property for custom cut

In addition to specifying standard cuts for filter conditions, you can specify a custom cut, by typing in a start and end boiling point. The start boiling point can additionally take the textual value IBP corresponding to the initial boiling point, and the end boiling point can take the value FBP corresponding to the final boiling point.

Combine filter conditions

Filter conditions can be combined together using the logical operations described in the following table.

AND

Combine this condition with previous conditions in the list, so that the crude is accepted only if this condition and previous conditions are satisfied.

OR

Combine this condition with previous conditions in the list, so that the crude is accepted only if this condition or previous conditions are satisfied.

AND NOT

Combine this condition with previous conditions in the list, so that the crude is accepted only if this condition is not satisfied and previous conditions are satisfied.

OR NOT

Combine this condition with previous conditions in the list, so that the crude is accepted only if this condition is not satisfied or previous conditions are satisfied.

Once you have set up a condition, you can add the new condition to the condition list by selecting the Add Condition button, to the right of the Add Condition component. The new condition is appended to the bottom of the condition list.

Managing filter conditions

A summary of the filter conditions comprising the filter appears in the condition list in the top component of the filter configuration page.

Conditions can be moved or removed using these filter condition management buttons:

  • Press () to move the condition up one in the list.

  • Press () to move the condition down one in the list.

  • Press () to remove the condition.

Share your filter

Once you have added all the needed conditions, you can share your filter with any groups that you belong to.

The Share Folders component displays a list of all available groups to which you have permissions to share this filter. To share the filter, click the radio button next to the group for which you wish to make the filter available, and click the Update Sharing button.
