Update cargo measurements

For each cargo, you can add measurements of crude properties and update existing properties. When a cargo is created, it is given the default properties associated with the same crude stored in the Assay database. However, you may wish to update the measurement data associated with a crude with new data obtained by assay.

Assay can update the cargo constituent on the basis of any measurement data you have to create a new consistent version of that crude, with all property values adjusted according to Assay's statistical understanding of crude oil data.

  1. To add a new measurement for a cargo, select the Add Measurements () icon, at the top-right corner of the list of measurements in the Cargo Summary page.

  2. To update an existing measurement, select the Edit Measurement Details icon, which can be found at the right-end of the row corresponding to each measurement.

The Edit Cargo Measurement screen allows you to enter new data for various properties associated with a crude.
