Enter measurement details

You must enter at least one cargo measurement to be able to create a cargo. Once you have entered a measurement, select Create Cargo to register the cargo.
If you have assay data for the crude, it can be entered at this stage. When you submit the cargo, a new assay based on your property measurements will be generated for your crude.

Choose an assay type by identifying the location where the assay was taken from the dropdown menu.

Enter the measurement date and the name of the person who performed the assay.

Enter the quantity of cargo the assay relates to. You can enter the quantity as a volume or weight.

Commonly measured properties are listed in Standard Measurements. If you have any values for these properties enter them in the appropriate box making sure the units are correct.

If you have HTSD (high temperature simulated distillation) measurements, choose from some commonly used measurement types in the Type dropdown menu of the Distillation Settings section. Once you do so, the relevant fields appear in the Distillation Measurement area, in which you can enter your values. Make sure you select the correct temperature unit. Select Paste Transposed to paste a row of numbers. For example, copy and paste from an Excel spreadsheet to the Temperature column of the Distillation Measurements section.

If the desired measurement type is not shown in the Type dropdown menu, choose the Freeform option. You will then be able to add your own values in the Percentile column of the Distillation Measurements section.
