Trend line calculation methods

The method used to calculate the trend line can be changed using Trend Line. Select one of the following options:

Simple Average: An average of all the cargo values.

Moving Average: Calculates the mean of all property measurements in the period defined in Trend Width and displays a trend line connecting these average values.

Cumulative Trend Average: Adds new cargo values to the average as the date value moves forward.

Gaussian Smoothed: Performs Gaussian smoothing on the property measurements for all cargoes and displays the results of applying this filter.
