Select Event Triggers

The Event Triggers page allows you to define the event changes that will cause an alert to be triggered. To enable alerting for a specific event, select the checkbox next to the event name. Event types include the following:
-
Add - occurs when a new item of the correct type is created in Assay
-
Edit - occurs when a item of the correct type is updated
-
Delete - occurs when an item of the correct type is removed from Assay.
Define Filter Conditions

The Filter page is used to define the conditions that cause an alert to be triggered. Each node
in the Filter condition represents a section of the Alert Definition. The type of
node can be changed using the menu in the top corner, where a Filter event causes
a condition to be evaluated, and automatically inserts two Result nodes. These results
nodes can trigger an event, or cause a further Result to be evaluated.
When defining a Filter node the following information may be set:
-
Field - select the type of information that triggers the event
-
Cut - where required, select the cut of crude that the property value should be evaluated for
-
Property - select the property that is evaluated
-
Condition - enter the condition that should be met in order to trigger the event, using an equality operator if necessary.
When defining a Result node the following information may be set:
-
Trigger Alert - whether an alert is sent if the condition is met
-
Priority - the importance of the alert
-
Custom message - a custom message to include with the alert message.
