Groups lets you see the groups which have been configured for use in Assay. Each group has different permissions allowing it to perform different actions in Assay. When a user creates a new account on Assay they automatically become a member of the Default Group. Users can be added to other groups to allow them to access extra functionality in Assay. A user can be a member of any number of different groups. If you wish to change your settings and become a member of a different group in order to use other features in Assay please contact your local Assay administrator.
By clicking a group's name you will see a description of the group and the currently registered members. You can view details about the group's privileges by selecting a viewing option from the Show menu.
As a user can be a member of many groups they inherit all the privileges assigned to each group of which they are a member.
