Create and edit messages

Navigation: Forums > Forum Messages > Create New or Forums > New Standard Message

You can create a new message in Assay using the following methods:

• By selecting the New Standard Message menu option from the Forums menu or

• By selecting the new message button when viewing all messages (see Forums); or from forum discussion components, where these appear.

After you have finished writing your message, select Save in the Edit Message dialog to post it to the forums. After your message has been posted, you can select the All Messages button to return to the Forum Messages page. Alternatively, select Cancel to cancel your message without posting it.

You can edit message after they have been posted to the Assay forums. Depending on the preferences set for you by your Assay administrator, you may be able to edit either only those messages you have created, or all messages posted by everyone.

You can edit a message in Assay from any page on which it can be viewed.
