Use Error Band to calculate error bars

The method used to calculate the error bars can be changed using Error Band. Errors can be calculated from the standard deviation in the cargo measurements. The size of the error bar can be set to one, two or three standard deviations.

Lines on the graph also represent the property measurement for the current recommended assay of the traded crude, and also the mean of the cargo assay measurements. These lines can be removed by deselecting the check boxes in the Graph Controls section. Check boxes also enable you to remove the data points representing the cargo assay measurements and historical assay measurements.

Several options are used for displaying data on the graphs:

• Recommended: Shows a line across the graph displaying the property value for the current recommended assay of that crude

• Cargoes (All): Shows brown points for each measured cargo value for that property

• Assays (All): Shows data points for property measurements for recommended assays, and assays in any other database

• Assays (Recommended): Shows data points for the property measurement in the recommended assay

• Other: Shows other assay data
