The Flow rate menu is used to define how blend ratios are defined; when the flow rate is set to Relative, the blend ratios are entered using ratios, for example percentages. When the flow rate is set to Absolute, blend ratios are defined using the actual amount of crude, either in barrels or tonnes depending on whether blending is by weight or volume respectively.
