AssayUpdate allows you to update the complete description of a crude oil on the basis of limited new measurement data for the crude. Assay intelligently uses its knowledge of crude oil behaviour to generate the crude description data, flagging up and statistically de-weighting any values which lie outside the range of its statistical model. The generated crude contains complete modified information for all properties, not just those properties for which updated values were entered. The generated crude may be added to the Database and subsequently manipulated in the same way as any other Database crude.
