The main numerical columns which can be displayed in Assay are cut columns. These correspond to property values for given cuts on the crude oil. Examples of cuts you could configure in Assay include:

The API density of the whole crude.

The aromatics content by volume of the 150-250°C kerosene cut.

The asphaltene content of the vacuum residue 1050°F+.
When configuring a cut column, you must fix several parameters for the cut:
