Forums administration

The Assay forums administrator has responsibility for managing posts to the Assay forums. You can think of the forums administration role as being similar to that of a group or newsgroup moderator for Yahoo! Groups or Usenet newsgroups.

Assay provides several facilities for managing the Assay forums. As a forums administrator, you can perform these tasks:

• Choose the default checkable categories available when users post a new message.

• Modify restrictions on file types which may be uploaded in messages.

• Rebuild the Assay forums full-text catalogs.
