Forum alert definitions

Forum alerts are raised when events occur in Assay-affecting forums. The alert definition contains three broad types of event (add, edit and delete), and alert definitions can be created by adding filters to generate specific alerts for forums of interest.

The Forum Alert Definitions list shows the different alerts configured in Assay. Users subscribe to one or more of these events in order to receive alerts. The Forum Alert Definitions list can be filtered using Column Filters.

Several icons are available for working with Forum Alert Definitions:

  • - delete the selected Forum Alert Definition

  • - copy the selected Forum Alert Definition

  • - edit the selected Forum Alert Definition

  • - add a new Forum Alert Definition.
