Like the message categories described above, Assay database categories enable you to categorise Assay messages for searching and indexing purposes. Unlike other message categories, the Assay database categories are not administrator controlled; instead, they reflect the underlying structure of the Assay database. The available Assay database categories are thus fixed in accord with the following table:
|
Icon |
Category |
Description |
|
|
Crudes |
A list of traded crudes with recommended assays. |
|
|
Refineries |
A list of available refineries. |
|

|
Disports |
A list of available disports. |

Countries |
A list of available countries. |
Suppose you wish to set the Load Terminals Assay database category for a message to a particular load terminal. Select the load
terminals button
to open the load terminals selector dialog.

The dialog consists of two panels:
-
Available Loadports, which displays a list of available load terminals.
-
Selected Loadports, which displays a list of the available load terminals already selected.
To add load terminals to the list, you can either make a direct selection or first search for load terminals by entering a search string in the text box and selecting Search. Note that your search string can contain wildcards.
Select Add. Your selected range of load terminals is added to the list of selected load terminals. Note that you are free to add further load terminals to the list at this point. To remove any load terminals you have previously selected, highlight them in the selected list and select Remove.
When you are satisfied with your selection, select the Update button. The load terminals selector dialog closes and your selected range of load terminals is added to the Load Terminals database category field in your message header.
