Each refinery has a list of Considered Crudes. These are crude oils approved for processing at a particular refinery. Crude oils
are assigned considered status based on expertise within a refinery and organisation.
Crudes may be added to the considered list by selecting the edit (
) icon, which opens the Crude Priorities page for the refinery.
To add crudes to the Crude Priorities list, use the Crude Selection component. See Select and group crudes Select and group crudes. For each crude added to the Crude Priorities List, you must select a Priority using the dropdown list. A crude can be assigned to the following priority levels:
- Low Priority
- Medium Priority
- High Priority
After setting the priorities for all crudes approved for a refinery, select the Update button to save the changes. To return to the Refinery page for the location, select the Refinery button.
The Considered Crudes component shows the number of cargoes of each considered crude at the refinery location, and also the volume of each crude and the API and sulphur.
