How to use Assay's search feature

Select the magnifying glass () icon near the top right corner of any page to open the main search box. From here you can search for any item in Assay, including the following items:

• Interface pages. Instead of looking through several menus, you can enter a keyword in the search box and get links to all matching pages.

• Reference data, such as traded crudes, refineries and pipelines.

• User objects, such as flowsheets, views and filters.

• World regions and countries.

You can specify the object type in a search expression. For example, if you search for Corsicana refinery, the search results will first list any refinery object types that contain Corsicana, followed by objects of any type that contain both Corsicana and refinery in their name. This works with countries, regions, reference data and all types of user objects.

Keyboard shortcuts

You can use the following keyboard shortcuts in the search tool:

• Press / to open the search menu.

• Press ALT+/ if you are in a text box.

• Use your keyboard arrow keys to navigate search results.

• Press ENTER to go to a selected result.

• Press ESC to close the search menu.
