EcoStruxure™ Foxboro™ DCS Process Automation System (Foxboro DCS) systems allow you to run virtual servers with Foxboro™ DCS Control Core Services (Control Core Services) software and connect them to a virtual AVEVA™ Simulation for Foxboro Control (formerly Simulation Control Processor [SCP]) software and to thin clients. For simplicity, AVEVA Simulation for Foxboro Control is referred to as SCP in this document. The virtualization of the Control Core Services and SCP software is supported on the Microsoft® Hyper-V™ hypervisor on the Control Core Services V91 Server Virtualization Host. The number of virtual images running is performance-optimized, ensuring that virtual servers behave the same as physical computers.
