Appendix D: Software Support Site

Software downloads, hot fixes, documentation, software compatibility matrix, and associated utilities are available from the Schneider Electric Software Global Customer Support. Downloads are available for the following simulation products:

• SCP

• TriSim

• DYNSIM

• System Platform Simulation / Historian Emulation

• Historian Emulation

• Compatibility Matrix - An online table showing the compatibility between different versions of Foxboro, Wonderware, Triconex, Flexera, and Aveva Simulation products.

The following instructions will help you access the site and download products:

1. Open the SimSci Support website at https://softwaresupport.aveva.com/. Note that this page updates content regularly and may not match the figure below.

   

2. Sign in or Register. Clients with a current SimSci contract or Schneider Electric/AVEVA employees may register. Ensure AVEVA appears in the top left corner. If not, navigate to the bottom right and select Product Hub.

3. Determine the software versions needed by consulting the Compatibility Matrix. In the Filters box, enter "matrix" and click Apply then click the Documents tab.

   Note: ensure that no products are selected before the search.

   

4. To find software downloads, under Products, expand SimSci, select DYNSIM and SCP (for example) and click Apply then click the Downloads tab.

   

5. Select each product and fill out the product request form (SCP 3.1, DYNSIM 6.0, Activation Manager for DYNSIM 6.0 are typical requests for SCP and a DYNSIM-L engine).

6. For current clients and employees, an e-mail will be sent to you containing links to the requested software. Download all the software associated with the package.
