Prerequisites

Ensure the system requirements mentioned in the "Minimum System Requirements" section are met before proceeding to the installation.

Prerequisites that are NOT included with the SCP installer:

• Microsoft KB3033929 update

  Notes: Prior to installing SCP, a Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 machine must be updated with the Microsoft KB3033929 update. This Windows update is not included with the SCP installer. Microsoft Windows 10 and Server 2012 R2 contain this update already. Your installation may vary depending on your installed updates.

  You will be able to install SCP if this KB3033929 update is not present, but you will not be able run SCP. If you experience a -2005 error when starting an SCP App, you need to uninstall SCP, install the Microsoft KB3033929 update, and reinstall SCP. See the SCP Known Issues.

Installation assumptions:

• The user has administrative privileges

• Port-blocking software is not installed

The SCP installer will install the following packages before installing SCP:

• Visual Studio 2013 C++ redistributable

• Microsoft .NET 4.5.1
