  2. After SCP installation, the Initial Display screen in FoxView shows "SCP FoxView."

  3. Verify that FAIM Batch and FAIM Spy shortcuts are available. Navigate to the following path: Start > All Programs > SIMSCI > SCP.

  4. Ensure that SimSync Engine related files are installed at the following location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SimSci\CE.

  5. Ensure that the SCP installer made backup copies of original FoxView files. These files are listed in the SCP Known Issues Guide under Installation.

  6. Optional: Install the latest version of the System Manager Server. In the System Manager, click the Smon Log tab and select one of the SMONs configured for your FECN (formerly MESH) network. Once an SMON is selected, look for messages like the figure below, which appear when the SMON log is viewed for the first time.

  7. To complete the Getting Started tutorial, use the demo_controls and the demo.fdf display files, which are available at D:\opt\fox\esscor in the CP Host machine. The s4m file is available in the SCP computer at C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCI\SCP\User and can be copied to the computer where DYNSIM is installed.
