If Foxboro Evo ControlHMI alarms are not displaying in the process alarm summary window there is a workaround the following document:
-
Foxboro Evo Process Automation Control HMI Application User’s Guide (B0750AQ)
On some secured systems with a restored PDCs, the group policies may not be properly setup. This will prevent the Alarm Server from creating necessary files needed for querying the alarm database for new alarms.
Note: Verify that this is the issue causing the problem before implementing the workaround.
-
Verify that "AlarmServer.exe" is running in the Task Manager.
-
Open WindowViewer and make sure the Control HMI is running.
-
Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and select open Task Manger.
-
Check "show Processes for all users".
-
Go to Step 2 if the AlarmServer.exe is running.
-
-
Verify if Alarm Server could not create runtime files.
-
Open Windows Explorer.
-
Browse to C:\Program Files(x86)\Invensys\InFusion\View\AlarmServer.
-
Verify if "aaStartup.ini" does not exist.
