If FoxView is uninstalled then SCP is uninstalled (wrong order)

Uninstalling FoxView before uninstalling SCP will create a situation in which the files remaining are mixture of FoxView files and SCP files.
The following steps assume that FoxView was uninstalled and then SCP was uninstalled — both uninstalled but wrong order.
Follow the steps below to correct the problem.
-
Turn off I/A and reboot.
-
Navigate to the folder d:\opt\fox\wp\FoxView.
-
Delete all the files in d:\opt\fox\wp\FoxView.
-
Navigate to the folder d:\usr\fox\wp\ams\bin.
-
Verify the following files exist:

-
If all the above files are present, delete the following files:
-
aaServer.exe
-
aht.exe
-
am.exe
-
-
Rename the following files:
-
aaServer.exe.ia_orig to aaServer.exe
-
aht.exe.ia_orig to aht.exe
-
am.exe.ia_orig to am.exe
-
-
Navigate to the folder d:\usr\fox\system32.
-
Verify the following files exist:

-
If both the above files are present, delete wam.dll.
-
Rename wam.dll.ia_orig to wam.dll.
-
Delete the folder d:\opt\scp.
-
Delete registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Invensys\IASeries\Launcher\SCP.
-
Re-install FoxView.
-
Turn on I/A and reboot.
-
Verify I/A and FoxView are functioning properly. If so, re-install SCP according to procedure in section SCP Software Installation.
If you were not able to complete the above steps as prescribed (because the "ia_orig" files did not exist), then try to obtain these files from another similarly installed machine in your system. Failing that then your only option is to format the disk and reinstall the operating system and other software.
