Foxboro Evo Control Software Components

The Control Software product line builds on Foxboro Evo Control Core Services / I/A Series by integrating it with ArchestrA and Wonderware products. The Control Software includes the following main components:

• Control HMI — An InTouch display application providing an alternative to FoxView / FoxDraw software.

• Control Editors — Engineering and configuration tools built on the ArchestrA Integrated Development Environment (IDE) providing an alternative to the ICC.

• System Manager — A system management user interface for Microsoft Windows workstations as an alternative to SMDH.

• Control Software Access Manager — Infrastructure integration with Foxboro Evo / I/A Series real-time data and messaging in the form of an I/A Series Device Integration Object, I/A Series History Provider, I/A Series Control Security Provider, Galaxy Sync Service, and an I/A Series Alarm Provider.

• Control Software Installation — An application that consolidates the installation of the individual software components into one installation program.

• ArchestrA System Platform — The ArchestrA software that provides the ArchestrA infrastructure and client applications such as the IDE and SMC. This software provides for the creation of and the interaction with the Galaxy Repository.

• Wonderware Historian — An optional data Historian based on SQL software.
