Editing the Cross-Reference Table

The automatically generated cross-reference database contains all control I/O points associated with a Fieldbus Module (FBM). The FBMs represent wires to the equipment sensors, such as a temperature or pressure sensor. Control I/O points that stimulate other applications, such as external devices or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), are not captured automatically. The next step is to edit the cross-reference table and replace the default values with simulation, or process model variables.

• On the main window, click the Tools menu and select Cross Reference Table or click the View/Edit X-Ref icon (). In the Cross Reference Filter dialog box, select OK, located at the bottom of the filter (DO NOT SELECT X).
