The SCP Port Tool specifies a port for SCP to avoid port conflicts with other applications. It allows for configuration of a port with a range of 1025 to 65482. In the unlikely event that a port is blocked and the SCP software issues a warning, use this tool to resolve the conflict.
Be sure to specify a port with at least 45 free ports after it. For example, if you specify port 4000 be sure ports 4000 through 4045 are free.
This tool is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCI\SCP when SCP is installed. The SCP Port Tool in only available from command line.
To open the SCP Port Tool from a command line window.

Navigate to C:\Programs Files (x86)\SIMCSI\SCP.

At the prompt, type SCPPortTool.exe NNNN to set the SCP App ports.

Start SCP Apps.
