SCP functions in simulation mode with DYNSIM software. DYNSIM installation software is bundled with its prerequisites. No separate prerequisite installation is needed.

Depending on the DYNSIM version, there is a required installation order with SCP 3.1. See section Installation Order by Workstation Type / Non-Foxboro machine / OTS for more information.

The following section briefly covers how to install the DYNSIM-L engine.
