A System Definition can be generated using standalone System Definition software or through the Galaxy Repository. The committed system (i.e., installed with System Definition and I/A Series Day 0 software) must match the Galaxy exactly. For this reason, if making a copy of an existing system, start from the pre-existing System Definition. If reducing the number of machines, ensure the system defined within the Galaxy matches the committed system.

Instructions to import an Exported System Definition can be found in the System Platform Simulation User Guide under Importing an Exported System Definition.
