Importing an Automation Object

To move controls between Galaxy Databases, export an Automation object from one Database and then import into another by completing these steps:

Note: If you plan to recommit your system with additional CPs that may be imported through an Automation Object, you should change your Committal status from "Not Yet Installed" to "Software Installed" prior to performing these steps.

1. Open the ArchestrA IDE and connect to the Galaxy database.

2. Select Galaxy, then Import, and then Automation Object.

3. Navigate to your aqPKG and click Import.

   Note: If the imported devices do not exist in your committal, reassign the associated strategies/hardware to existing items.
