Install the DYNSIM-L Engine

For SCP to function with DYNSIM, ensure that the DYNSIM-L engine and custom automatic cross referencing features are installed. The DYNSIM-L engine brings with it special tools used by SCP/TRISIM.

There are two Installation Types that will accomplish this:

• Installation Type: Controls Emulations

• Installation Type: Custom

The DYNSIM-L engine is not suitable for full OTS models. It is used for tie-back simulations and for custom automatic cross referencing features.

Control Emulations

During the DYNSIM installation process, select the "Controls Emulation" Installation Type to install the DYNSIM-L engine and custom automatic cross referencing features:

Custom

During the DYNSIM installation process, select the "Custom" Installation Type. Enable the DYNSIM-L engine (in addition to your desired DYNSIM engines). This will install the DYNSIM-L engine and custom automatic cross referencing features.

The steps listed below detail installation of software specific to SCP. Ensure that the steps related to setup listed in the "Configuring the Network Interface Card" section have been followed before proceeding with the install.
