SCP Launcher and its Features

To start up the SCP, follow the steps below:

  1. Invoke the SCP Launcher and create a new SCP Configured System file using the IIF.prm file from the Control Processor (CP) Host (WSTA70 or WSVR) machine. (For detailed steps, refer to the SCP User Guide.)

  2. From the Launcher, start one SCP from the list. Once the SCP is started, the SCP application is launched in a console window, which displays license status and expiration date, as shown below.

  3. The SCP boots, generating messages during the startup process as shown below. When the "SCP is online" message appears, the SCP is up and running. Optionally, after a few minutes, look at the System Monitor (SMON) log for the "Equipment Online" or "Database Download Complete" message to indicate boot-up completion.
