Before installing additional software from Microsoft, SimSci, Foxboro, Wonderware, or any other vendor, for machines running I/A Series or Control Core Services processes, disable these processes and reboot the computer in advance. After installation is complete, re-enable the processes and reboot. Follow these steps:

  1. Select Start / Control Panel / I/A Series Startup Options.

  2. To disable: under I/A Series Off, click Autologon, then OK. Reboot the computer.

  3. To enable: under I/A Series On, click Autologon, then OK. Reboot the computer.
