Change License Server Version

If you need to change the version of the license server (from 11.12 to 11.13, for example) after installing SCP software, this can be done by changing a text file. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCI\SCP and edit the product.ini file. This file tells SCP what version of license server to expect. The ";" symbol at the beginning of a line disables that line.

The example below indicates that the FNP 11.12 license service is enabled. The ";" symbol disables the first and third options.

The example below indicates that the FlexNet 11.13 license service is enabled. The ";" symbol disables the second and third options.

Move the ";" symbol to disable the undesired line(s). Ensure that only the one option is enabled and save the file.
