Adding Indicator Widgets

Add indicators to view the local/remote status of MTL1_REMOTE.

1. Select Indicator in the Widgets library.

   

2. In the Tank Level Control window, click anywhere above the REMOTE button to add an indicator.

3. Right-click the indicator to bring up the context menu. Select Draw Attributes.

4. Enter a Width of 72.

5. Enter MTL1_REMOTE in the Point Name field.

6. Enter 1 in the Point Value field.

7. Enter REMOTE in the Display Text field.

8. Select green in the Text Color field.

9. Click OK.

10. Select Indicator in the Widgets library.

11. In the Tank Level Control window, click anywhere above the LOCAL button to add an indicator.

12. Right-click on the indicator to bring up the context menu. Choose Draw Attributes.

13. Enter 72 in the Width field and enter MTL1_REMOTE in the Point Name field.

14. Enter 0 in the Point Value field and enter LOCAL in the Display Text field.

15. Select red in the Text Color field.

16. Click OK.

17. In the Tank Level Control window toolbar, click the Lasso Select icon ().

18. Draw a box around both indicators. Both indicators should be selected.

19. On the main window, click the Draw menu, select Align and then Align Vertical Middle, or click the appropriate icon (). The indicators are now aligned vertically.
