Preparing the AVEVA Simulation for Foxboro Control Installation Media

The following three options can be used to prepare the SCP Installation Media. To use media for installation in a VM that is available on a CD/ DVD:

1. Connect the physical CD/DVD drive to one VM at a time. Use the MEDIA-DVD-Capture E: and MEDIA-DVD-Uncapture E:.

2. Convert the CD/DVD to an .iso file and use this file simultaneously on multiple VMs. Various DVD/CD burning tools can create an ISO file from a physical DVD/CD.

3. Copy the contents of the installation media to a network file share location and access it via a network share in the VMs.
