Cross Referencing

Learn to send data values from one flow sheet to another.

This tutorial will:

• Create a cross-reference database for the configuration

• Insert entries into the cross-reference database

• Override I/O points through the Graphical User Interface (GUI)

This tutorial makes the following assumptions:

• The Demo controls are loaded

• The DYNSIM user interface is displayed

• The "FirstSim" or "Simple_Flowsheet_FSBase" simulation is loaded and the Tank Level Control flowsheet is active.

• Enable Cross Referencing was selected when the simulation was loaded
