Create a Recipe Template

You can use the Recipe Templates editor to create and edit a Recipe Template. You can create multiple Recipe Templates within the system. When you create Recipe Template, you can specify Formula Templates and configure using the available Capabilities and Controls. You can also map Capability and Formula Template parameters.
To create a Recipe Template

From the Main menu, select Templates > Recipe Templates to show the Recipe Templates summary page. All existing Recipe Templates are shown as tiles.

Click the Add button. The Recipe Templates details screen appears with a default name that you can change.
NOTE: The Recipe Template name cannot exceed 128 characters.

In the Description box, you can enter a description for the Recipe Template. The Recipe Template is in a draft state and checked out to you.

After you have added all your details, check in your Recipe Template by clicking the Check In button.

Specify the state of your Recipe Template by clicking the Set State button. You must have permission to change the Recipe Template state.
NOTE: You cannot change the state of the Recipe Template to Current until you have set the Formula Template.

Click the back arrow icon to return to the summary page. All the changes are updated in the Recipe Template's tile.
Setting Formula Template
You need to associate a Formula Template to a Recipe Template by clicking the Set Formula Template option. A yellow triangle icon appears in the tile of the summary page as well as on the details pages when a Formula Template is not set for the selected Recipe Template.
NOTE: You must set the Formula Template before changing the state of Recipe Template to Current and also you cannot change this once it is set. You must also set this before you can map Formula parameters to Capability parameters.
To set Formula Template

From the Main menu, select Templates > Recipe Templates to show the Recipe Templates tile page.
All existing Recipe Templates are shown as tiles. -
Select and click the Recipe Template that you want to associate with a Formula Template. The Recipe Template Summary page appears.

Click Check out and then click Set Formula Template. The Set Formula Template slide-in window appears with a list of available Formula Templates.

Select the Formula Template and then click Set. The Formula Template is now associated with the selected Recipe Template.
NOTE: You cannot change the Formula Template once it has been set. The Recipe Template needs to be recreated if you have selected the wrong Formula Template.
