When you run the Recipe Manager Plus in standalone execution mode, the Recipe Manager Plus Execution Service is not configured for automatic recovery and is not restarted immediately after it crashes. You can manually configure the execution service for automatic recovery easily.

To manually configure the Recipe Manager Plus Execution service:

  1. Open the Services Property dialog using the services applet.

  2. Select and right-click Wonderware Recipe Manager Plus Execution Service.

  3. Click Properties on the shortcut menu. The Wonderware Recipe Manager Plus Execution Service Properties dialog box appears.

  4. Click the Recovery tab and then do the following:

    1. In the First failure list, select Restart the Service.

    2. In the Second failure list, select Restart the Service.

    3. In the Subsequent failure list, select Restart the Service.

    4. In the Restart service after box, type 0.

  5. Click OK. This will restart the Recipe Manager Plus Execution service immediately if the service exits unexpectedly.
