Configure AVEVA Recipe Management Execution Service for Automatic Recovery

When you run the AVEVA Recipe Management in standalone execution mode, the AVEVA Recipe Management Execution Service is not configured for automatic recovery and is not restarted immediately after it crashes. You can manually configure the execution service for automatic recovery easily.

To manually configure AVEVA Recipe Management Execution service:

1. Open the Services Property dialog using the services applet.

2. Select and right-click AVEVA Recipe Management Execution Service.

3. Click Properties on the shortcut menu. The AVEVA Recipe Management Execution Service Properties dialog box appears.

4. Click the Recovery tab and then do the following:

   1. In the First failure list, select Restart the Service.

   2. In the Second failure list, select Restart the Service.

   3. In the Subsequent failure list, select Restart the Service.

   4. In the Restart service after box, type 0.

5. Click OK. This will restart the AVEVA Recipe Management Execution service immediately if the service exits unexpectedly.
