Units of measure (UOMs) are used in the parameters for your Equipment, Formula Templates, and Formulas. AVEVA Recipe Management includes a number of pre-defined units of measure. You can add more UOMs in two ways:

  • Manually, using the UOM editor

  • Automatically, when importing Equipment or Formula Template parameters (if the UOM does not currently exist in your system).

For Formulas, UOMs are inherited by the Formula Templates.
