Navigate to the Outstanding Operator Actions

You can navigate to the Operator Actions slide-in window if you click global bell icon that appears only when you have a Capability that requires operator intervention, and you have the view permission on Execution. The slide-in window displays a grid listing all the Capabilities waiting for acknowledge or edit. This feature is global, and operators can access this feature from any editor.

To navigate to the operator actions window

1. Click the Global Alert icon. The Operator Actions slide-in window appears.

2. Do any of the following:

   • Select the Capability link that have the activity type Edit parameter. The Procedure tab in the Execution Details page appears with the selected Capability that requires edit for actual values. The selected Capability is highlighted and is opened in the splitter tab for edit where it appears in the SFC panel along with the grid panel. The tab in which edit is required appears first and is highlighted with Yellow when you click the link. If you have more than one parameters that require operator intervention, then the tab appears as per the Procedure. Click Edit to update the Actual values.

   • Select the Capability link that has the activity type Acknowledge. The Procedure tab in the Execution page appears with the selected Capability that needs operator intervention for acknowledge. The selected Capability appears in the SFC panel along with the grid panel. The tab in which operator intervention for acknowledge is required appears first and is highlighted with Yellow. If you have more than one parameters that require operator intervention for acknowledgment, then all the tabs are highlighted with Yellow, and the tab appears as per the Procedure. Click Acknowledge. The global bell icon disappears.

   • You can click the View Execution Summary button. The Execution Summary page appears to show all the tiles which require an operator action.

3. The Capability record is removed from the list in the Operator Actions slide-in window once you make the necessary updates for the selected Capability.
