Set up the User Preferred Language

You can configure the preferred language for a user by using the Set Language option available in the Users details page. By default, the application's preferred language is used if you do not set the language for the selected user. AVEVA Recipe Management overrides the application's language setting if you set the preferred language for the user. By default, English (United States) is only available for setting up the preferred language in AVEVA Recipe Management. You can set other languages as preferred by importing these languages using the Localization utility (RepositoryResourceUtil.exe) and then using the Set Language option.

To set up the preferred language

1. Open the Users details page.

2. Click the Set Language button. The Set Language screen appears.

3. Select the preferred language from the Language list.

4. Click Set. The preferred language is set for the selected user.
