The use case for exporting and importing the Recipe Template Parameter Map is slightly different than for the other items. A user can create a procedure, export the map, edit it in, e.g. Microsoft Excel, add the Formula parameter mapping there, and then re-import it. The following table describes the Recipe Template parameter map columns for an export/import:
|
Column |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Capability (optional) |
Name of the Capability. |
|
Alias (required) |
Alias details of the Capability. |
|
CapabilityParameter (required) |
Parameter of the Capability. |
|
Group (optional) |
Name of the parameter group. |
|
FormulaTemplateParameter(optional) |
Mapped Formula Template parameter |
For all new Capability names mentioned in the .csv file a row is created with the corresponding details given in the file.
You can access the Import and Export parameters only when the Recipe Template is checked out.
To export parameters
-
From the Parameter map tab details page, click Export. The CSV file is created.
To import parameter
-
From the Parameter map tab details page, click Import. The Import Parameters slide-in window appears.
-
In the slide-in window, click Browse to find the file you want to import.
-
Select the file, then click Import. A confirmation message appears.
-
Click OK.
Important:
-
If an invalid Capability name is given, it will be ignored. The mapping is done if a valid alias and Capability parameter is mentioned.
-
If a previous mapping is done, you can clear it by giving blank values for Formula Template parameter.
-
If an invalid or non-existing alias / parameter / Formula Template parameter is given, then an error message is displayed. Other rows for which valid values are given will also not be updated.
-
Formula Template Parameters are case in-sensitive.
