Configure History Auto Purge Settings

The History Auto Purge feature allows you to specify how many days of data in the history table is retained before being auto-purged. For example, if you set the auto purge to 30 days, then as the system runs it starts purging all history data older than 30 days. It will not consider running Recipes or Formulas for purging.
Only a user with an administrative access can configure the time interval for the Auto Purge. By default, the time interval for History Auto Purge is 28 days.
An administrator can enter a zero (0) value to disable the Auto Purge feature. Any modification to the History Auto Purge value is updated immediately in the system.
NOTE: If you plan on keeping large amounts of history data, then it is recommended to set this to 0 and instead use the Archive utility periodically. See the Managing the History Database section in the History chapter for more details.
