Upgrade a Recipe

Recipe can become upgradeable in the following cases:

• When you update a Recipe Template by adding, modifying, or deleting a Capability from the procedure.

• When only the name or description of the Recipe Template is changed.

• When a Formula is modified by overriding its Formula Template parameters, or the name or description of Formula is changed.

The Recipe will be upgraded successfully only if the Formula Template that Recipe Templates is set to and the Formula Template that the Formula is pointing to match.

In the case of any Recipe upgrade, an upgrade icon appears on the Recipe tile in the Summary page as well as in the Details page of the Recipe next to the version of the Recipe and also on the action bar if the Recipe is checked out.

To upgrade a Recipe

1. From the Summary page, click the Recipe that is available for upgrade. The Recipe details page appears.

2. Click Upgrade and then click Check In to upgrade the Recipe to the instance of the upgraded Recipe Template version and Formula version.

3. You can click Undo Check Out before check in of the upgrade changes; all the changes due to the upgrade will be deleted and the Upgrade icon will be displayed again.
