Done By/Check By Settings

You use the Done By/Check By Settings to configure the system to prompt for Done By confirmation, Check By confirmation and Comments while performing the corresponding action related to execution. After configuration, these settings display a Done By and/or Check By signature page at runtime when performing an action and requires one or more users to enter their login credentials to approve the action. Comments can be registered with a signature and can be made mandatory by selecting the Comment check box.

NOTE: If you configure the Done By/Check By Settings for an action and there is no role permission defined for that action, a warning message appears. For example, if no role is assigned for Done By of Assign Recipe and the user tries to enable the Done By for the Assign Recipe settings in the DoneBy/CheckBy settings page, then a warning message appears on the update.
To configure the Done By/Check By settings

From the Main menu, select Security > Done By/Check By Settings. The Done By/Check By Settings page appears.

In the Action list grid, do the following:

Select the Done By check box for the action if you want the system to prompt for a Done By signature before allowing the action to continue.

Select the Check By check box for action if you want the system to prompt for a Check By signature before allowing the action to continue.

Select the Comment check box if you want comments to be required for Done By or Check By actions. By default, the Comment check boxes are disabled. Selection of either the Check By or the Done By check box enables the Comment check box.

Click Update once you have selected all the actions.
NOTE: You can select the Done By, Check By, or Comment check box at the column header level to configure all the actions list.
