Upgrade a Formula

When you upgrade a Formula Template by adding, modifying, or deleting a parameter then the Formula derived from that Formula Template becomes upgradeable. If only the name or description of the Formula Template is changed then the Formula will be upgraded to the latest version and the overridden parameters will be updated to point to the latest version of the Formula Template.
You can see an Upgrade 
icon on the Formula tile in the Summary page as well as in the Formula details page.
You can also see a new upgrade button on the action bar only if the Formula is checked
out.
To upgrade a Formula

From the Summary page, click the Formula that is available for upgrade. The Formula Details page appears.

Click Upgrade and then click Check In to upgrade the Formula to include the latest Formula Template's version. In the case of new Parameter Extensions, you can also view the updated Parameter Extensions in the Formula.
You can click Undo Check Out before checking in the changes to revert to an earlier version and the Upgrade icon will re-appear at all the respective places.
