About the AVEVA Recipe Management Application Object

The AVEVA Recipe Management Application Object package is installed as part of the Components for System Platform IDE feature. The package is installed at:

<install location>\AVEVA\RecipeManagement\AppObjects

You must manually import the object package file into the AVEVA System Platform. For information on importing objects, see the Help.

As a good practice, you should create a derived template for the AVEVA Recipe Management Application Object before running the Import AVEVA Recipe Management Model utility. This new derived template should be used as the "base" template for the import. This allows you to make object customizations, such as scripting, on the "base" and have all other derived templates and instances inherit the changes.
